Ilche is a small town located in the Somontano de Barbastro region, in the province of Huesca. It has a population of around 100 inhabitants and its main economic activity is agriculture and livestock farming.
In terms of tourism, in Ilche you can visit several places of interest, such as the church of San Miguel, built in the 18th century and declared an Asset of Cultural Interest; or the hermitage of San Juan, located on the outskirts of the village. In addition, Ilche is surrounded by a privileged natural environment, with various hiking and mountain routes that allow you to enjoy landscapes of great beauty.
As for its gastronomy, in Ilche you can try typical Aragonese dishes, such as roast lamb, lamb stew and migas de pastor (shepherd's breadcrumbs). Also of note is the production of wines from the Somontano region, where Ilche is located, with varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Garnacha.
